The CSF is an all-important fluid that continually circulates through the brain’s ventricles (hollow cavities) and around the surface of the brain and spinal cord. CSF washes out impurities from the brain, transfers nutrients, and provides protective cushioning to the brain and spinal cord. The fluid is contained by the meninges, a series of protective membranes that surround the brain and spinal cord.
Yet is there something more about CSF that connects us beyond function? Is this the gateway into a deeper understanding of our being shown by symbols of our past, that allude to our inner place within us, and to the collective consciousness? Is our CSF the bridge from the infinite to the finite?
Dr. Mauro Zappaterra competed his MD/PhD at Harvard, focusing on neuronal stem cells and the effects of the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). He is published in numerous scientific and medical articles. Having studied rehabilitation medicine, evidence-based research, nutrition, and various complementary and alternative medicine modalities, he takes us on his rich and powerful journey of what he has learned.

"When I say 'I am', I do not mean a separate entity with a body as its nucleus. I mean totality of being, the ocean of consciousness, the entire universe of all that is and knows. I have nothing to desire for I am complete forever. ~ Nisargadatta Maharaj
